In the version of the map that I have recently downloaded there are some problems -- the developer is probably aware of them already, but I will mention them just in case no one else has.
I am running with SCS 1.28 + PM 2.20 + RusMap 1.74 + SR 6.5.2.1 + Steppe 1.0 (Aug 1 2017)
The issues are mostly basic modelling glitches such as: power pylons floating in air, vegetation floating in air, horses floating in air, here and there a gap in the terrain. If these have not already been reported, then I can fly back over the road and get pictures and coordinates.
There are also some trees in road and one traffic sign in road -- the trees are harmless and the traffic sign can be avoided. Not important.
There is one invisible obstacle I hit when passing over a bridge: a serious collision with 12 percent damage, ouch. If this has not already been reported I will go back and provide coordinates.
Perhaps the release was done in a hurry, but most problems are not fatal. For me the game does not crash and it is possible to continue and enjoy the map. I like this map -- the wide open spaces, great sense of emptiness and isolation, lonely roads, wonderful sunsets and dawns. The sound of the wind is also very good.
One thing I would appreciate is: when side roads go nowhere, please could they have X-barriers across them. I have been fooled several times thinking they might be "easter eggs" and followed them only to find they are just stubs. Also the world map view in the game does not quite match the Steppes reality; in some places the road on the world map seems to continue but in reality there is an X barrier.
Much thanks to the developer who has put a lot of work into mapping a very interesting area. I will definitely be following the updates for this map.
